Super-Mini Backpack for Feeding Pump

21 Feb

The above picture shows Jenna wearing her super-mini backpack with her Enteralite Infinity feeding pump.  This backpack simplified our lives in so many ways, and we are so grateful to have been able to use it.  Jenna has finally outgrown it, though, and we’d love to pass it on to someone else who can use it.  We used this from when she was born until her fourth birthday.  It’s convenient, not just for the kiddo to wear, but also for use with a stroller, wheelchair, or even in the car.  The backpack holds the Enteralite Infinity pump and a 500mL bag securely with strong, velcro fasteners.  The backpack is in like new condition and has lots of life left.  If you’re interested, or belong to an organization who can connect someone who is in need, please contact me at: psychmamma (at) hotmail (dot) com.

Edited to add: The backpack has found a home in Texas!!  If you are interested in a backpack or supplies and need help finding and affording them, please be sure to check out the Oley Foundation.  They connected us with the person we donated this backpack to, and have a wonderful organization.

I can be your second reference/person standing up applauding! This backpack has been a huge blessing—and it is super easy! PLUS, if you have a sensory kid, carrying the little tiny bit of weight is actually a really good thing!

Thank God for this…I seriously don’t know what I would have done without it! (thank you PSYCHMAMMA! I love you!)

Hi! Do you still have your moog backpack? Where do you live? I would LOVE to buy it from you. my 2.5 year old son has cerebral palsy and is pump fed, and I have been looking for so long for something like this – but I can’t get one shipped to Canada. Please let me know. Thank you!

    Dawn –

SO sorry, but it already went to someone in TX. Check with the Oley Foundation. They connect families with supplies like this. Also, I would guess that is you ordered a backpack online, they would ship to Canada. Ours was a Zevex Super-Mini Pack. She’s now using a small Zevex pack that we love.

    Hope you find something!!

Do you have any advice on these backbacks? My 23 month old just got a tube last week and we have rigged a bag here:
    http://mooneyequalsmc2.wordpress.com/2010/05/10/it-was-bound-to-happen-sooner-or-later/

but it keeps beeping because I am sure I am missing key parts that these pro bags have. Are they worth the 110.00 I see them online for? So expensive but worth it?

Are there any comparable bags? Have you given this one away already?

Sorry for so many questions! I am so new to this!
