And the winner is………….  #217 – Esther!

Here are your random numbers:

Congratulations, Esther!  Watch for an email requesting your shipping information.  You’ll have 3 days to respond, or I’ll draw another name.  Thanks for trying everyone!  I loved hearing the many ways that you all love to spend a little “me time,” and was amazed how many of us love that tub time with a book!  Sorry I don’t have a package for everyone!  Happy Holidays!

After many giveaways for the kiddos, I decided that it’s time to host a grownup giveaway!  This giveaway is just “for her” and features four fun products.  The apron you see pictured above is a vintage inspired camisole apron with back ties at the neck and waist and a right front pocket.  It’s 100% cotton that’s machine washable and it’s made by Now Designs.  If you love to cook, a pretty apron only makes it even more enjoyable!  If you hate to cook, at least you can look good while you’re doing something that has to be done.  🙂  The fabric in the picture above doesn’t show well, so here’s another pic that shows the colors better (light blue with cheery red cherries):

The next thing in the giveaway is a pair of earrings handmade by me!  That’s right – I do a bit of “dabbling” with beads and jewelry making.  The pair I’m giving is made from blown glass and Swarovski crystal beads on sterling silver hook earwires.  They’re mostly black with swirls of white and amber that adds a warm glow.  The crystal beads add just the right amount of twinkle.  Here’s a pic:

And finally, two books: The Alchemist, for when you’re feeling in a deep philosophical mood, and Silk for when you’re in a sultry philosophical mood.  Both will be great company through the long winter nights and might be best enjoyed while relaxing in a luxurious bubble bath.  You deserve some “me time!” (Psst!  Coincidentally,  iMommy has a great post about taking some “Me Time.”  Go give her some love!)

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment on this post.  Any comment is fine, but I’d love to hear about your favorite way to spend your precious “me time” alone.  One extra entry for posting a comment at Twitter about this giveaway & review, then commenting (in a separate comment) here with the URL of your tweet.  If you don’t use Twitter, you can email your friends and include me in the email (psychmamma(at)hotmail(dot)com) and leave an additional comment here telling me that you did it.  Please leave separate comments for each entry opportunity in order to receive full credit.  Contest ends at 6 p.m. EST on Monday, December 22. One winner will be chosen via random number generator.  The winner must provide a valid email address and respond to prize notification within 3 days. After 3 days, your prize will be forfeited and another winner will be notified. Contest is open to all readers.

Oh, I just love to drive, alone, with the radio up. Anywhere, even if it’s errands… Doesn’t matter. Love to be alone in the car, singing!

Me time is kind of foreign right now with homeschooling 5 kids. When there is a small minute or two, taking a nap, or reading a good book is nice.

On the rare occasion that I have some me time I love to take a nice long bath with a good book. I also like cooking a nice meal, but I HATE thinking about it and shopping in preparation for the meal…

Long hot showers are my fave. Especially at the gym because I’m using someone else’s hot water! lol. If I’m already clean and don’t need a shower, I’ll typically just take a nap.

Me time is absolutely reading or writing. I can’t believe that I once had unlimited time for this. They always say that you only appreciate things when they’re gone…

Me time? What is that? there is such chaos in my life. So when I get a moment to myself, I like to feel alone somewhere. Alone in a corner of the library, or alone in a field off the bike path. I will take a drive at night, or go to campus when I know everyone is sleeping and walk around. It is really odd, but I feel more ownership of my community when I see it in its most vulnerable state at night, when people are sleeping, when nothing is happening… the lights are low and it is quiet.
