Saturday Memories

We’re up to Jenna at 1!!  I can’t believe that she’s going to be three this January already!  When I look through these “old” photos, it seems like she was just learning to walk yesterday……  We were starting to get a little worried, because she was turning one and still wasn’t pushing herself into a sit position, crawling or walking.  Now we know the girl’s got her own timetable for pretty much everything.  In the week after her first birthday, she pushed herself to a sit in her crib and pulled herself up at the edge.  Within days she was walking, and THEN she started crawling.  The girl is also VERY cautious and spent most of her walking time “cruising” by holding on the anything handy.  The first pic is of her cruising while holding onto the handle of the freezer drawer on our refrigerator, and the second is her resting (with the constant paci) after she cruised around the kitchen.

    So sweet!
Hope we get to see some pictures of your snow this Winter. We never get any in LA (lower Alabama).

    AnyMommy & Lynn –

Really, truly, when she was little, I simply pulled her hair into two pigtails to keep it out of her face. If you watch the photos, her part is often not even straight. It did that cute curly thing on its own. Now, no more curls {sniff} and it’s short. It’s just cute in a different way now. (But I DO miss the pigtails AND the curls)
