Have time to sneak in one more vacation before school starts this fall? Already beginning to plan that winter getaway? Travel with a cause! Book a travel package through Generous Adventures and profits from your purchase are donated by travel companies to nonprofit groups. Beneficiaries include groups such as Habitat for Humanity, Doctors Without Borders, and Action Network. Destinations include Alaska, India, Micronesia, Belize, and the list goes on. If you’re not into international travel, there are many packages within the U.S. and Canada as well. You can search for packages by topic such as special interest, outdoors adventures, resorts, nature and wildlife. Because this is an auction site, you can find great deals on fantastic vacations. How about a stay at a spa? Or a guided eco-trek through Indonesia? I’ve got my eye on Greece. So many places to go, and so little time. And a toddler. But there’s always Grandma and Grandpa……..

Denise –
I feel your pain. Someone should invent the virtual vacation thing (or have they already – I’m a technology dunce)! Slip on some virtual reality googles after the kiddos have gone to bed and escape to Tuscany or Greece. The bummer is that it would have to wait until the kids go to bed. Since we’re responsible mommies and all…… Sigh. Just NOT the same as a real vacation.
